Weight Restriction on Imports to select locations in Philippines 09 April 2009 Dear Valued Customer: There have been several incidents of overweight containers shipped to certain Philippine ports. Please refer to this table for guidelines on permitted weight to select ports in the Philippines
(*40ft containers are not permitted in Bacolod unless they are 18 Tons and below) Kindly abide by these weight restrictions to avoid delay and fines. Do also note that Shippers who under declare cargo weight in their bill of lading are also liable for penalties, and any rework costs that will be incurred.
