Equipment Specifications - Refrigerated Containers
Also known as reefer containers, they are used to transport cargo that requires protection from heat or cold, temperature control or ventilation.
APL's fleet of reefer containers are amongst the most advanced in the industry, including some equipped with modified atmosphere technology and controlled atmosphere technology - all to ensure that your cargo arrives at its destination in optimum condition.
Please note that in certain exceptional cases, the containers operated by APL may have specifications that differ from the descriptions above. Also, cargo in container must conform to the dimensional regulations and laws stipulated by the host country, thus payload capacity may be affected.
